Grant Mental
Healthcare provides the full range of comprehensive
mental health services to individuals of all ages
and families throughout Grant County.
Initial & Crisis Services
During regular business hours, Initial Services provides Intake
Assessments and Referrals. Crisis Services provides services to individuals experiencing emergency and or crisis situations. These services include:

Initial Services and Crisis Service have experienced professional staff, including Master's Level Therapists.
Crisis Line of Grant County
Crisis Line of Grant County operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and can be accessed by calling (509)765 1717 (collect calls are accepted).

Children & Family Services
Children and Family Services offer: Community Support Services, Brief Treatment, Parenting, Child and Family Therapy, Community Crisis Intervention, Intensive Community Support and Sexual Abuse Therapy.
The Children's Hospital Alternative Program (CHAP) is available as an intensive program targeted at keeping children in their own homes and communities. Emphasis is placed on providing specialized services which may divert psychiatric hospitalizations.
Psychiatric Services
Our Director of Psychiatric Services is an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner who is certified in Child and Adult care. Consultation and medication management are offered by our Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioners.
The above medical staff specialize in child, adolescent and adult
psychiatric treatment.
Adult Services
Adult Services provide a full continuum of treatment for individuals with mental health needs. Emphasis is placed on
providing individualized care to support independent living within the community. Support services are offered for all adults and individuals with disabilities. Services include:
Employment & Educational Services: Supported Employment provides job development, job coaching, and follow-along services. Interest inventories and assessments provide measurements for career development. Interviewing techniques, application assistance and resume development are provided when needed.
Self-Help & Group Services: Groups are diversified and designed to meet the needs of the individual. Symptom management is offered within all groups to educate and empower persons learning to manage their symptoms of mental illness.

Employee Assistance Programs (EAP) (Depending on availability)
An Employee Assistance Program is a counseling and referral service designed to help you and your family with personal, job related, or family problems.
Many employers, as part of their medical benefit package, offer an Employee Assistance Program. Check with your employer to see if you are eligible.

Your Ombuds Service
The Mental Health Ombuds service helps and advocates for anyone having problems with public Mental Health. We ensure the client's choices and rights are respected. Mental Health Ombuds services are free, confidential, and independent of Grant Mental Healthcare or the Regional Support Network. You can contact the ombudsman Monday through Friday, 8:00 to 5:00 at 800-346-4529 or 509-766-6502. If no answer, please leave a message.

Our agency is professionally staffed
by individuals with a variety of educational
backgrounds and specialty fields. Among these are Advanced Registered
Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners, Mental Health Case
Managers, Employment Specialist, Masters Level
Therapists, County Designated Mental Health
Professionals, and other professionally trained
staff. Grant Mental Healthcare has a fully staffed
medical, clinical, and administrative staff and
comprises 80 employees throughout Grant County.

Payment for Services
Fees are charged for all professional services. The cost of many services are covered, in part, by most health insurance plans. Not all services are covered by all insurances and we have staff who will help you determine what your insurance will cover and assist you in billing your insurance company..
For eligible individuals, Medicaid provides coverage for the Agency's mental health services. We also offer a sliding fee schedule to those individuals without insurance or Medicaid, who provide financial information and documentation and meet eligibility requirements based on income. Grant Mental Healthcare staff are available to assist individuals in processing health insurance claims including Medicare questions.
Payment of all copays for insurances is expected at the time of service.

All services are private and confidential as required by State and Federal laws. Information regarding individuals receiving services is not released without written
permission. There are exceptions to confidentiality specifically in the areas of health and safety of children.
Our disclosure practices will be reviewed with you at the time of your first appointment. You will also receive a handbook with this information.
